Florida
Starr Villas (FSV) LLC is incorporated in Florida and has been trading
very successfully since it's launch in September 2002. The prime
aims of the company are to ensure that guests who wish to rent a
vacation home in Florida receive an expert, prompt, efficient and
friendly service from our staff, and, have a residence that is entirely
suitable to their needs with particular regard to size, location,
cleanliness and facilities.
As
a result of our main aims, the homes advertised for rental on FSV are
handpicked by the owner of the company to ensure that the homes are
entirely as specified and that high standards are maintained. This
ensures that all guests renting a home from FSV can be secure in the
knowledge that they will rent a home which is exactly as specified on
the advert page for that home.
Brief
Biography of the owner, Bobbie Starr
I
relocated to Florida from Indiana with my teenage son in 1990 and began
working for a property management/rental company which specialized in
rental homes in Central Florida. This seemed like a perfect fit since I
had previously been a travel agent for over 10 years and loved working
with and helping to arrange vacations for my many customers. The
company that I began working for dealt mostly with condos and while I
was employed by them they began branching out into the rental of single
family homes with private pools. Back in 1990, there were few such homes
available and they were a wonderful alternative for the vacationer who
wanted more privacy and space than a condo could offer.
In
order to gain more experience in the single family rental home field, I
began work for a startup villa rental/management company and took it
from a very small company to one which managed 90 private homes. I
happily remained with this company until it was sold in 1999, at which
point I was contacted by one of the rental homeowners about starting our
own management company.
This
new company got off the ground in 1999 with 10 owners, unhappy at the
sale of the previous company, being the backbone of our new company.
From this small start, with me as the sole representative in Central
Florida responsible for our staff, home owners and guests, I ensured
that our new company grew to manage over 140 homes in Osceola, Polk and
Lake Counties, in just 3 years. Ensuring that everything ran
smoothly with 140 homes, and that everyone was happy, rapidly became a
24/7 occupation and so in 2002 I decided to take back my life and retire
to a quieter, less complicated existence.
What
I liked most about being a property manager was my relationships with
the homeowners, which are still ongoing, but above all it was talking
with, and helping to arrange the 'perfect' vacation for, my guests.
Therefore my next logical step was to concentrate on working entirely in
the areas that I loved best. So, to that end, Florida Starr Villas
was born and incorporated in September 2002. As you'll see from the testimonials
page, I have many happy and satisfied customers who return to me
each year for their perfect vacation rental home in Florida.
